Skin Rejuvenation
Chemical peel
A light-to-medium acid peel removes the top layer of dead skin cells to even tone and texture.
$185
per session
Includes the peel, a neutralizing step, and a take-home sunscreen sample. Sample prices, demo site.
How it works
The peel is chosen for your skin at the consultation, not from a menu. Lighter peels mean almost no visible flaking; stronger ones mean a few days of peeling and more preparation beforehand. Deeper skin tones are prepared for two weeks before a stronger peel to lower the chance of dark patches.
Who does it
A licensed aesthetician, following a protocol our medical director signs.
Time and sessions
Each session: 30-45 minutes.
Often a series of three, four weeks apart, then as needed.
Downtime
Light flaking for three to five days. Daily sunscreen is not optional afterwards.
Common side effects
- Stinging during the peel
- Redness and flaking for a few days
- Rare: darker or lighter patches, more likely on deeper skin tones without careful preparation
Who should wait or skip it
- You have a sunburn or broken skin on the face
- You used a retinoid in the last five days
- You are pregnant: some peel acids are not used in pregnancy
Alternatives
- The hydrating facial for dullness alone
- The laser facial for sun spots
- Daily sunscreen and a gentle exfoliant at home
One price for the full face, whichever peel is chosen at your consultation.
