Your first visit

What to expect

Unhurried by design. Every first visit starts with listening, and every first injectable or laser treatment starts with a medical exam.

An amber glass dropper bottle on a turned wooden stand, with the shadow of palm leaves on the wall
  1. Step 1: A conversation first

Thirty minutes, by phone or in the studio, with no charge and no obligation. You tell us what bothers you; we tell you what is realistic, including when the answer is to do nothing.

  2. Step 2: A medical exam

Before a first injectable or laser treatment, our nurse practitioner or medical director takes your history, looks at your skin and checks medicines and conditions that change the plan.

  3. Step 3: A plan in writing

What we suggest, how many sessions, the price, the downtime and the side effects, on one page you take home. Nothing is booked or charged that day unless you ask for it.

  4. Step 4: Treatment and a follow-up

Treatment on a day that suits you, then a check-in at two weeks for injectables and after the first session of any series.

Financing

Spread the cost, with the whole picture

A package can be paid monthly through a third-party lender. Move the amount, choose a term and a rate, and the estimate shows the monthly payment together with the rate, the number of payments and the total you would repay.

The lender, not us, decides whether to approve you and at what rate. Rates in this example run from 0% APR on a promotional plan to 26.99% APR. Every rate shown is fixed and does not increase during the loan. Checking your rate with a lender may involve a credit check.

Who treats you

The clinicians behind every plan

Every injection and every laser session happens under the name below, not under the brand.

Helena Voss, MD, Physician

Medical Director

Board-certified in Dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology, a member board of the American Board of Medical Specialties. On site Tuesdays and Thursdays, reachable by phone whenever treatments are performed.

Reviews every treatment plan for injectables and laser, sees anything that looks like a skin condition rather than a cosmetic concern, and sets the protocols the rest of the team follows.

Questions

Safety and downtime

Is it safe?

Every treatment we offer has known side effects, and most are mild and short-lived: redness, swelling, small bruises. Some have rare serious risks, and each treatment page lists them. What lowers the risk is the exam before a first injectable or laser treatment, a clinician who knows your history, and a medical director who reviews the plan.

How much downtime should I plan for?

It depends on the treatment. After neurotoxin most people go back to work the same day. After microneedling or a peel, expect two to five days of pink or flaking skin. Each treatment page gives the usual downtime, and your written plan gives yours.

Does it hurt?

Most treatments feel like a pinch, a snap or warmth. We use numbing cream or cooling where it helps, and you can ask us to stop at any point. If something hurts more than you expected, tell us during the session.

Who actually does the treatment?

Injectables: our nurse practitioner or our medical director. Laser: a trained technician under our medical director's supervision. Facials and peels: a licensed aesthetician. You can ask who is treating you and what license they hold, every time.

Can you treat my rosacea, acne or eczema?

No. Those are medical conditions and belong with a dermatologist or your primary care doctor. We treat cosmetic concerns, and if something at your consultation looks like a condition, our medical director will say so and suggest who to see.

What if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?

We postpone injectables, laser and most peels until after pregnancy and breastfeeding, and offer a hydrating facial in the meantime if you would like one. Tell us at booking so we can plan around it.
